Vacuum Spectroscopy System – vs10

CELS-vs10 is a high-precision vacuum spectroscopy platform designed for advanced materials research and surface science. Operating at ultra-high vacuum levels down to 10⁻¹⁰–10⁻¹¹ mbar after bake-out, the system combines a non-magnetic chamber architecture with a precision electron beam source (200 eV – 15 keV, approx. 80 nm beam spot) to enable highly sensitive spectroscopic and angular measurements.

A fully integrated load-lock, preparation, and analysis chambers support automated workflows and versatile sample environments, including cryogenic cooling to −253 °C and heating up to 650 °C. High-resolution detection provides spectral measurements from 390–1100 nm with 0.06 nm resolution or angular resolution below 0.04°, while precision manipulation enables nanometer-scale positioning and reproducible angular control. Controlled via CELS-Soft with Linux/Windows compatibility and remote operation, the CELS-vs10 provides a powerful platform for next-generation vacuum spectroscopy experiments.
